First Antitrust Immunity Granted For U.S.-Asian Carrier Alliance

Department of Transportation (DOT) granted the first antitrust immunity
for an
alliance between a U and Asian carrier when it said in November
that
Northwest Airlines [NWAC] and Malaysia Airlines can team up to better
serve
their customers.
